The well known old Beach Store was mostly demolished in the year 2000 and rebuilt with extensive alterations and add on buildings to achieve the style and décor of today.
The main building is constructed of Central Otago schist and gives the Outpost a stylish vineyard feel. All colours inside and out reflect the local environment. More than thirteen hundred Natives are planted to recreate what the area would have once been like.
In 2018 our long standing manager of 10 years Nic, took over ownership of The Cabbage Tree with his wife.
